it was just a regular weekend at the camden waterfront. i was working for the council at the WXPN XPoNential Music Festival. i wasn't super excited A) to be in camden and B) to have the "public face" on for a good 6 hours. i'll be perfectly honest and say that one whiff of "fair food" and i was instantly in a better mood! the weather was threatening rain and the humidity was a little high for my liking, which means above 20%.as i approached our booth, i stopped to take a look at the line-up for the evening. tower of power. wait. what?!? tower of freakin power. i L-O-V-E these guys. love them. can it get any better than that? yes. add some fried oreos and call it a beautiful night!
and yes, i'm aware that i was born in the wrong decade.
